Green Screen is a passive cooling panel made of agricultural waste used in the slums of New Delhi. It addresses the intractable problems of extreme heat and air pollution while adding beauty to the world.
Based in Cambridge, MA and New Delhi, India.
Founded in 2017, we are an interdisciplinary team of designers, scientists, fabricators, physicians, and policy experts trained at Harvard and MIT. Green Screen was founded with the mission to develop a new material use for agricultural waste, and in the process cool one million of New Delhi's most vulnerable.
